  • Cooking spray
  • 2 packages of refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury(R) Recipe Creations(R)), divided
  • Zest and juice of 2 lemons, divided
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar

Directions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish with aluminum foil and generously coat it with cooking spray.

Take one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, ensuring it stretches to the edges.

In a bowl, combine the zest of 1 1/2 lemons and juice from 2 lemons. Using an electric mixer, blend the lemon zest mixture with softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until achieving a smooth and creamy consistency. Spread this delightful mixture over the layer of crescent roll dough.
