6. Shoes
Previously, we mentioned how you can wash shoelaces in a washing machine, now it’s time to know how to wash shoes in a washing machine. Before starting, use some towels as buffers in the machine, then load the washing machine and start a cold gentle cycle. Once done, air dry them so that they won’t lose their original shape.
7. Mop heads
Mop heads are usually ignored and left uncleaned. Break the habit and wash them in your washing machine. First, bundle the mop heads in a mesh bag, then run them through a gentle cold cycle (you can also use a sanitizing cycle if you want them to be perfectly clean).
8. Kitchen sponge
Sponges are simply designed to do a wonderful surface cleaning job, but they get dirty a little bit quicker because of their high efficiency. To clean them, put them in the washing machine and start a sanitizing cycle with hot water.
9. Small rubber toys
Rubber toys are very fun to play around with, but because they go through hard times of chewing, throwing, and torture, they get dirty and for that, they need a refreshing shower. Make sure to throw them in your washing machine and run a sanitizing cycle with hot water.
10. Car floor mats
Car floor mats are very useful and aesthetically pleasing, but they tend to buildup dirt, debris, and dust quickly because of their constant contact with feet. To clean and restore them back into shape, brush the mats, vacuum them, put them in the washing machine, and start a cold and gentle cycle, then air-dry them for better results.
