You may be wondering what benefit someone would get from blocking your hotel’s bathtub drain. Chances are, you don’t take a soothing bath when you’re out and about (unless you’re staying in a sparkling clean hotel for leisure), so why block the hotel drain?
The reason: to do an emergency, impromptu laundry.
Obviously, no one wants to do laundry on the road, but if you just stained the shirt you were going to wear to your big business meeting, a little washing may be in order! This tip creates the blockage you need so that no water runs down the drain while you do your quick wash.
