Rusty iron
This lady called Laura Siârm had a rusty iron and wanted to trade it in for a new one. But then, she came across this grandma’s old-fashioned tip that saved her iron. She knew that you can easily clean the rusty part of your iron using only paracetamol. She tried it, then she swore by it! Her iron looked brand new again!

Using only paracetamol, she got her iron as good as new. She shared these photos on the Facebook group “Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK”. People went crazy over the tip when they’ve seen it and it went viral on social media, so her tip is now shared by everyone!

Luckily, Laura included with the photos the steps she took to get her iron looking brand new again. It’s so simple; she turned on the iron and rubbed two paracetamol pills over the rusted parts with tweezers. Then, she let the hot iron cool down, then unplugged it and cleaned it with a damp dishcloth. She easily wiped the rust off the iron leaving its surface clean and looking new again. What a simple hack, right?
