For Ree Drummond, making lots of homemade lemonade is a summer ritual, and we can see why. “I’d feel really lost and abandoned in the wild if something happened to the world’s lemon crop one year and I wasn’t able to make it,” she says. So, when it came to finding a new lemon-based recipe that went even further, we knew it had to have all the qualities of the classic drink, plus a little something extra. And so, iced lemonade was born. It’s similar to what you’d find at Chick-fil-A, but made in your own kitchen.
Our homemade lemonade mix is blended with vanilla ice cream until creamy and smooth, then garnished with lemon slices for a pretty presentation. It’s ideal for kids of all ages, but if you’d like to turn this frozen lemonade into an adults-only cocktail, simply add your favorite alcoholic beverage. Bottoms up!
