Jessica from This Blessed Life reveals that you only need two things to remove mold from bathtub caulking: cotton rolls and bleach. A cotton roll is a ball of cotton that has been broken down into one long strip. The cotton is then simply soaked in bleach and placed on top of the caulk.
Jessica recommends using a Q-tip to press the cotton coil onto the caulk so that the skin does not come in contact with the bleach. You may also want to wear rubber gloves when handling cotton coils. It is also necessary to ventilate by turning on an exhaust fan or, if possible, opening a window when left unattended (at least for a few hours).
After a while, remove the cotton coils and wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Jessica says that since trying this cleaning method, the mold has not reappeared. If you have mold in your bathroom, too, it’s worth trying this simple but effective method.
