With the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak thing going on, we should all be washing our hands very often. And most of the stores are running out of hand sanitizer.
⁣⁣
There are more and more cases of Corona Virus appearing all over the world, and all over our country, many of us are going to the next level with taking care of the basic hygiene routine. If you want to prevent this virus from getting to you, the best method to prevent it is by washing your hands with warm soapy water for at least 20 seconds. But sometimes, you’re outside and you’re in need of cleaning your hand but you don’t have access to warm water and soap, so the best alternative is having hand sanitizer in hand. And with the current panic all over the world, most of the market shelves are out of hand sanitizer. So what? Make your own! It’s affordable and easy to make.

DIY Anti-viral hand sanitizer.

Ingredients:⁣

– 6 ounces distilled or filtered water⁣⁣
– 2 Tbsp aloe vera gel⁣⁣
– 60 drops Defend essential oil blend (link in bio)⁣⁣
If you don’t have the Defend blend, you can substitute the following amounts of individual essential oils:⁣⁣
– 10 drops each of rosemary, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and clove bud essential oils⁣⁣
– 20 drops of lemon essential oil⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I used essential oils instead of alcohol because bacterias become immune to alcohol-based sanitizers. And essential oils also have antiviral and antibacterial properties, but they’re better because they leave your hand smelling fresh and good.
