Some people love shoes or purses, and thus collect a ton of them. I don’t have many shoes or purses, but I am a total sucker for jewelry. I have so much jewelry and I truly do love it, but if I’m being honest, I don’t take care of it as well as I should. If your jewelry is in need of a little love, you’ll be happy to learn that making a DIY jewelry cleaner is easy as pie.
Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap (Dawn is the best)
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of baking soda
1 cup of hot water
Directions:
Step 1: Combine all of the ingredients in a small or medium bowl, stirring to combine.
Step 2: Soak your jewelry for about 15 minutes.
Step 3: For very tarnished pieces, use a toothbrush or other soft-bristled brush to gently scrub at the jewelry.
Step 4: Rinse with water and immediately dry using a soft cloth.
