The holidays are full of sugar biscuits, gingerbread, decadent hot chocolate and, of course, fudge. And when it comes to that last dessert, we’re going to help you out! To make Paula Deen’s five-minute fudge, you will need:

1 2/3 cups of white sugar

2/3 cup of evaporated milk

1 tablespoon of unsalted butter

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 6oz package of milk chocolate chips

16 large marshmallows

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

1 cup of chopped nuts

Directions:

Step 1: Combine the sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for about five minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 2: Add in the chocolate chips and cook until melted.

Step 3: Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the marshmallows, vanilla, and nuts. Mix well.

Step 4: Pour the mixture into an 8″ pan. Let cool, then cut into squares and serve. That’s all there is to it!
