Polish Kielbasa and Cabbage Soup

We made this soup last night, had some fresh cabbage from our CSA. It was very tasty. My husband loved kielbasa, no matter how it is fixed. Throw a little hot sauce in, YUMMY.

SERVES: 8 cups

PREP TIME: 10 Min

COOK TIME: 30 Min

Ingredients :

  • 1 lbpolish kielbasa, sliced in 1/4 in rounds
  • 2 conions, sliced thinly
  • 4 cgreen cabbage, shredded
  • 1 Tbspfresh garlic, minced
  • 6 cvegetable stock
  • 2 cpotatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tsppepper

How To Make

  • 1– Saute kielbasa in a large soup pot-over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove kielbasa and set aside.
  • 2– Add onion and cabbage and saute for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garlic and saute for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • 3– Add vegetable stock, potatoes, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
