Study Highlights The Antibiotic Properties Of Garlic

You may already know that garlic is loaded with many antibiotics and calming properties. In any case, did you realize that in certain occurrences, garlic can be substantially more viable than well known over-the-counter antibiotic agents? A study performed by specialists at Washington State University has shown that garlic can be multiple times more viable than two well-known anti-toxins at battling infection-causing microscopic organisms liable for foodborne ailments.

The study inferred that garlic concentrate was very successful in halting the development of the C. jejuni microbes. “This work is very exciting to me because it shows that this compound has the potential to reduce disease-causing bacteria in the environment and in our food supply,” explained Xiaonan Lu, lead scientist, and creator of the study.
