Cleaning products may not be high on most people’s wish list, but they can make surprisingly delightful holiday presents, if selected right. That’s why I’ve compiled a guide to the best cleaning-themed products, so that you might give your loved ones the gift of clean this holiday season.

WD-40 does so much good in this world. It kills roaches. It removes gum from hair. It lubricates the mechanisms on your drawbridge!

WD-40 is a thing everyone should have around, and a tiny can of the stuff makes a cute little stocking stuffer or third night of Hanukkah gift because, well, tiny cans of WD-40 are charming in their way.

Sparkle Sponges | Casabella, $5.99

Glamorous people need to do dishes too. These scouring sponges can be used on pots and pans, as well as on the bathtub—they’re great for quickly scrubbing away soap scum buildup, so you can get your glamorous self into a glamorous bubblebath.

Screen Shine | WHOOSH!, $10

The gym. The subway. The crapper. Think of all the disgusting places people bring their phones. Every phone is so gross, is what I’m trying to say, which is why this little bottle of tech cleaner is such a handy thing to have. This is a great little add-on gift for someone who’s getting a new phone or laptop this holiday season!

LightHaus Cleaning Products | HausWitch, $12 each or $101 for the set

Salem’s HausWitch Home + Healing is devoted to bringing the good vibes into your home — and their line of cruelty-free cleaning products will help you perform some domestic magic. With names like Abracadabra (all-purpose cleaner), Sacred Ground (floor cleaner) and Crystal Ball (glass cleaner) these are sure to delight the clean witch and lover of puns in your life. (Okay yes, I’m describing myself.) Buy them individually or as a set.

Let’s Play House! Dust, Sweep and Mop | Lillian Vernon, $35.99

There hasn’t been a whole lot of joy in 2017, but an unexpected delight was that my friends’ kids all managed to go through their “cleaning is a fun game” phase all at once. Which meant I was treated to photos and videos of tiny clean people wielding tiny mops and tiny brooms! This play set is the perfect gift for the toddler crowd, and as a bonus, you’re likely to be on the receiving end of a whole bunch of adorable photos in 2018.

Glitter Hangers | etsy, $17.50

Allow me to level and say that these are very likely a terrible idea. There’s just no possible way that these things won’t eventually start shedding glitter all over the closet. Which makes it a perfect gift for that special frenemy in your life.

Gentlemen’s Hardware Shoe Shine Kit | The Company Store, $23

This is needlessly gendered—women shine their shoes, too, you know!—but nonetheless it’s a really good buy at $23. The zip-up case, which is great for travel, includes two tins of polish (back and neutral), two shoe brushes and a soft cloth for buffing shoes to a lovely shine.

Wine Away Red Wine Stain Remover | The Container Store, $5.99

This stuff is legit incredible: Not only does it remove red wine stains, it also works on cranberry and pomegranate, which are two of the most stain-y substances that exist in the world. It’s a great gift for the red wine drinker in your life, or to pair (get it?!?) with a bottle of wine as a hostess gift.
