10. Dry Wet Shoes
If your shoes have become soaked from trudging through snow and slush, stuff some newspaper in them once you get home. Newspaper is amazing for absorbing water.
11. Survival Kit
In the winter, it’s imperative that you have a survival kit on hand in the event that you get stranded somewhere in your car. In addition to things like jumper cables, a flare, and a small shovel, your survival kit should also include a blanket, gloves, extra warm clothes, a flashlight, first aid kit, bottled water, and some dry, non-perishable food items.
12. Socks
Yes, you should wear warm socks on your feet in the winter. But you should also place them over your windshield wipers when temperatures are about to drop! This will prevent them from freezing to your windshield.
