6. Hair growth
If you want healthy and natural hair growth, then coffee grounds can help you with that because they can exfoliate the scalp which stimulates hair growth and adds shininess. If you have light-colored hair, then overdo this treatment because the coffee grounds can make your hair a little bit darker.
7. Air freshener
If you like the smell of coffee, then you can make an air freshener with that propagates the smell of coffee all over your house.
8. Make candles
If you love to make things on your own, then you can make candles using coffee grounds. This way you will save money and have a quality time making the coffee candles that can propagate a nice coffee smell as well.
9. Clean dust and soot from around the fireplace
Cleaning the fireplace is one of the most tiring things to do. But, you can make it easy on yourself and save some time if you sprinkle damp coffee grounds around the bottom of your fireplace so that ash sticks up into them and not fly up. This makes you sweep off the ash quickly and more efficiently.
10. Remove furniture scratches
If you notice scratches on your furniture, then rub used coffee grounds into the scratches and let them sit for 10 minutes before using a cotton rag to buff out the furniture. This method works best with dark wood furniture.
11. Get rid of ants
If you have been raided by ants in your kitchen or anywhere in the house, then sprinkle used coffee grounds in the area where the ants show up the most and the strong coffee smell will send them off easily.
12. Trap and kill cockroaches
If you have a cockroach problem, then fill a glass jar with water halfway, then put in a small cup of coffee grounds in the jar, then put it wherever cockroaches roam the most. The trap will attract them because of the coffee smell and once they crawl into the jar they will be trapped and soon dead. Make sure to check up on the trap to get rid of the dead cockroaches.
