Have you ever used a strong oven cleaner? Then you’ll be aware of the overwhelming smell and the terrible exhaust it releases. This isn’t good for your health. Fortunately, you don’t need to bother with any synthetic oven cleaners to clean your messy oven. There a lot of easy and cheap solutions and some of them are useful for many things other than cleaning the oven. We’ve arranged a list of nine least demanding ways to clean your oven. Some are incredible, while many solutions are milder.

What’s your favored method to clean an oven?

1. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide

Mix baking soda in with hydrogen peroxide and a drop of dish soap. Make a thick paste out of these ingredients and rub this onto the filthy areas of your oven. Let it sit for some time and then spray some white vinegar on top. Use rubber gloves and a brush or scrubbing sponge to scrub the oven.

2. Pumice stone

Use a pumice stone and some warm water, that way, you won’t experience difficulty with tiredness or soap buildup that gets left behind in your oven. This can start to smell when you walk out on, which isn’t what you need, obviously.

3. Bathroom cleaner.

Plenty of bathroom cleaners come in the shape of a spray bottle. They are intended to expel limescale and soap buildup, yet, they work incredibly against grease also! Spray it into the dirty oven and let it sit for a few hours before scrubbing the oven clean.

4. Ammonia and trash bags

To clean the baking plate and oven racks, you can fill a tough trash bag with Ammonia and water. Put the oven rack as well as the baking plate inside the bag and let it sit for about 60 minutes. Open the pack (use a mast or a tea towel on your mouth and nose) and also flush the plate or rack with water.
