Have you had s’mores yet? S’mores Rice Krispie Treat Pinwheels! Not only is this treat beautiful (and impressive!) ), for I have another recipe that will strike your heart. ), but it is also very easy to make.
Say goodbye to square Rice Krispies and hello to this fun windmill. I made the Rice Krispie pinwheels by accident. I couldn’t resist making Rice Krispie treats for S’mores Week. But I wanted to make something fun and unexpected, and these pinwheels were just that.
Muffins are always a delight and are just as easy to make as traditional foods. There are a few extra steps, but really, they are well worth it!” .
We started by buttering a jelly tray lined with wax paper. Buttering the wax paper makes it easier to peel off the wax paper when rolling the candy.
Next, heat the butter and marshmallows in the microwave until melted, then mix in the cereal and graham crackers.
Now comes the fun part. There is a marshmallow element to this s’mores treat, and I really wanted the marshmallow flavor to pop. So I sprinkled a jar of marshmallow cream on top. See, this is how I did it.
Next, I lightly melted a Hershey’s chocolate bar and layered it on top of the marshmallow cream layer.
Oops. There’s a little drool on my keyboard … . I won’t comment.
Finally, I rolled it all up (cinnamon roll style) and threw it in the fridge to harden.
Slice and serve!
How amazing are these things? If you want to make friends with kids (or adults) right away, bring a plate of these windmills and they will accept you!” And believe me. .
