However, cleaning should not always be that hard, there must be some things or some tips that can help you do the job a little bit easier.

Lucky for you there are tips that can make the cleaning experience a little bit easier in some spots in your house. Without further ado, here are the 6 cleaning tips that you have to know about.

1. Wash pillows in your washing machine

If you want fresh pillows out of your washing machine, then add 2 machine-washable pillows at a time with half a cup of baking soda, half a cup of laundry detergent, and a cup of bleach. Let them soak in hot water for about an hour or so, then let the cycle continue normally. Once done, put them in the dryer with dryer balls or tennis balls to have them fluffy again.

2. Clean fake plants with ease

We all love plants, but all of us are ready to take good care of them, that’s why we buy fake ones because they don’t need maintenance, except for cleaning dust off of them. To do that, use a blow dryer to dislodge dust from the foliage, and make sure to clean silk flowers by putting them in a pillowcase with some rice, cornmeal, or salt, then give the pillowcase a good shake to remove the dust. Make sure to use cold water to gently clean plastic foliage.

3. Revive your kitchen faucet

Sometimes the reason behind your low water pressure is mineral deposits that clog your faucet. To solve that problem, put a rubber band on the faucet, fill a plastic sandwich bag with vinegar and put it on the end of the faucet, then use another rubber band to secure it. Wait for about 30 minutes before using your dish scrubber to scrub off the deposits and that’s it basically.

4. Get rid of smelly trash cans

Thrash cans can build up bacteria, germs, and stains super fast, not to mention mold and nasty smells. Make sure to mix 3/4 cup of bleach with a tablespoon of powdered laundry detergent and a gallon of water, then add the solution to the trash can. Once done, let it sit for 30 minutes and use a brush that has a long handle to scrub the inside of the can before rinsing it clean and allowing it to air dry.
