“Charmingly delicious apple pie cake – we are speechless and we are busy eating it”

INGREDIENTS

  • apples – 3 pcs.
  • jam – 2 tbsp. optional (I used cherry jam)
  • vanilla – 1 packet (2 g)
  • oil – 5 tbsp. + for spreading
  • sugar – 1/2 cup
  • milk – 1/2 cup
  • flour – 1 and 1/2 cups
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • baking powder – 2 tsp (10 g)
  • butter – 1 tbsp. (soft)
  • honey – 1 tbsp.
  • yogurt – 1 tbsp.

HOW TO COOK

Grate 2 apples into a bowl.

Add the jam, vanilla, oil, sugar, milk and eggs to them.

Beat the mixture well and start adding the sifted flour and baking powder in portions, while continuing to beat.

Transfer the resulting apple pie cake mixture into a greased baking mold or pan.

Bake it at 360°F (180°C) for 35-40 minutes. Take it out from the oven, leave it to cool, by carefully release it from the baking pan and cut the cake into 2 cake layers.

Blend the remaining apple along with the butter, honey and yoghurt.

Spread this mixture on one cake layer and place the other one on top.

Sprinkle the apple pie cake with powdered sugar.
