Sugar consumption should be limited up to a certain extent, the AHA (American Heart Association) advises men to consume less than 150 calories of sugar a day and women less than 100 calories of sugar a day. Another stab in the back for that ice cream study is the fact that a gram of sugar has 4 calories, a serving of ice has almost 100% the amount of the recommended sugar quantity.
