In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nuts until they meld into a harmonious mixture.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup of softened butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

For the Glaze:

  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously butter a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all the base ingredients mentioned above, except for the melted butter. Once they’re well mixed, incorporate the melted butter and pour this delightful mixture into your prepared baking pan.
  3. Now, in a separate bowl, blend together all the topping ingredients – softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Ensure they form a tantalizing concoction. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture evenly over the base in the pan, then take a butter knife and gently swirl the topping into the base, creating a delightful pattern.
  4. Slide your pan into the preheated oven and let it bake for approximately 28-30 minutes or until it achieves a golden perfection.
  5. While your scrumptious creation is baking, prepare the glaze by combining powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Stir until it becomes a smooth, heavenly glaze.
