Cleaning the interior of your car with a coffee filter

Coffee filters are cheap and you can buy large packs at the dollar shop. Even if you’re not brewing drip coffee, you can use them for other things, like keeping the inside of your car clean and free of lint, splatters and stains.

If you’re just dusting a little, you can probably get away with using the filter, but SavvySugar suggests adding a few drops of vegetable oil to dust the interior surfaces and give them a bit of a shine. If you need to clean up stains or scratches, a little vinegar and water (or whatever cleaning product you prefer) will also do the trick. Plus, the filters are cheap (you can buy a big pack at the dollar shop for less than a box of wet wipes), abrasive enough to clean without falling apart immediately like paper towels, and strong enough to be used for a long time, but still disposable when you’re done cleaning: no mess, no rags to wash, just a clean car.
