Grilled shrimp with garlic is a perfect summer staple on the barbecue, especially on skewers! A simple dip in this spicy marinade is enough to make a skewer or a delicious shrimp taco!

It’s one of those “take-out” recipes that makes summer life so easy! Serve it as a starter or even as an appetizer so guests can eat it with the mojitos on deck!

 

Ingredients

– 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined

Marinade
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  •  cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped
