3. The Figure 8

This exercise will improve the physical movement of your eyes and make your vision clearer over time. First, you have to imagine a giant 8 on the floor for about 10 feet in front of you. Trace the figure with your eyes and keep doing so for a few minutes, then trace it the other way for a few minutes. You can practice this with both an upright and sideways figure 8 for better results.

4. Near And Far Focus

  1. Sit on a chair or stand in front of a blank wall and focus on a nearby object, e.g. a pencil. It should be about 10 inches (20-30 cm) away from your eyes.
  2. Focus on the object.
  3. Look at something distant. Focus on that distant object that is 5-10 feet away and try to see it in detail.
  4. Look at the nearby object again.
  5. Change this focus five times. Repeat this exercise three times.
