I don’t really have a green thumb – and that’s exactly why I like succulents so much! In fact, they grow with very little care, which makes them a very easy yet beautiful plant to have in your home or garden. I recently came across a do-it-yourself project to hang succulent orbs, and they are simply beautiful. I am already planning all the places where I can hang them!
Better Homes & Gardens has an excellent tutorial to hang succulent orbs, with a video that shows all the steps. You will need some basic materials for this project, along with the succulents of course. Better Homes & Gardens suggests buying the succulents at the end of the summer, when their prices tend to drop. You can also look for cheap succulents (such as chickens), because you will need many for this project.
It’s such a great DIY project because it can be customized to your personal taste and design preferences. Hang your succulent orbs on your porch, back deck, shed or even on a shelf in your garden. When it’s time to water your succulent orbs, simply immerse them in water and let them dry completely between waterings.
