Waking up congested or sneezing, then it is probably related to the sleeping environment (pillows, beddings, sheets, etc). Air conditioning can be a problem too because your nose is sensitive to the changes in the air, or because of mold, dust mites, or animal hair.

The first thing to do is to identify the problem to know the proper treatment. Make sure to change your bedding once every week, turn on the AC a few degrees, sleep with a humidifier. If these solutions are not working properly, then try these 8 tips.

1. Turmeric.

If you constantly sneeze in the morning, then sprinkle 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder in a pan and heat it over high heat. Once done, start inhaling the fumes 3 times a day, once in the morning and 2 more times throughout the day.

2. Black pepper, pepper leaf, turmeric.

Lightly heat 8 pepper seeds wrapped with a pinch of turmeric powder in a pepper leaf, then start chewing on it once you’re done brushing your teeth.

3. Fennel tea.

If you want to stop sneezing in the mornings and resist against allergies, then make sure ti drink fennel tea because its antiviral and antibacterial properties are going to help you do just that.

4. Ginger.

Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that can help you alleviate coughing. To properly use it, simply chew on a small piece of ginger.

5. Garlic, clove.

Mix garlic with clove until you get a paste, then start inhaling to develop a sneezing resistance because of the antiviral and antimicrobial properties of the paste.

6. Chamomile tea.

Chamomile tea contains anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that make it effective against sneezing and coughing.

7. Orange.

Orange is an important source of vitamin C. As you may or may not know, vitamin C can lower the amount of histamine in the body, that is why drinking orange juice in breakfast can treat morning sneezing (it can also prevent it from occurring as well). Eating an orange with breakfast is as beneficial as drinking orange juice.

8. Peppermint oil.

Peppermint oil is a natural antibacterial that is very effective when it comes to dealing with stuffy noses and sneezes. Boil two glasses of water treated with 6 drops of peppermint oil, then inhale the steam to deal with morning sneezes
