INGREDIENTS

  • orange juice – 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • eggs – 4 pcs.
  • flour – 3 cups
  • sugar – 2 1/3 cups
  • oil – 3 tbsp.
  • vanilla – 2 pcs. (0.2 g each)
  • margarine – 2 tbsp.
  • baking powder – 2 tsp (10 g)
  • yogurt – 2 tbsp.

HOW TO COOK

Grease a sponge cake mold and refrigerate it.

Beat the eggs with the sugar for a long time, until a fluffy cream is obtained. Add freshly squeezed orange juice, oil, the yogurt with baking powder and 2 spoons of margarine.

Stir and gradually add the flour. A homogeneous mixture must be obtained. Pour it into the mold and level it out.

Preheat the oven to 340°F (170 degrees). Bake the sponge cake for about 50 minutes or until it’s fully baked.

Cool it and turn it over into a suitable dish.

Sprinkle the cooled sponge cake with powdered sugar.

The orange sponge cake with yogurt is ready.
