All I can say is it’ll be the best onion you’ve ever eaten. If it’s not, it’s not far off! Cooking with Love and Passion sw ?

Sherri this recipe and the picture is amazing. And it sounds great, too. I’ve seen it in the Food Net workflow, but I’m sure yours has your own creative style. I can’t wait to try it. Great recipe. Sounds good with Swiss cheese, one of my favorites.

Ingredients
4 Vidalia onions (small-medium)
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 Tbsp Montreal seasoning
4 slice thick bacon
4 oz Gruyere, slice & torn; more if you like
2 Tbsp flat leaf parsley, chopped
BASTING SAUCE
3/4 c beef broth
1/4 c dry vermouth
1/4 tsp lemon thyme
1/2 Tbsp Montreal seasoning
