No more key ring hassles
There is nothing more painful than putting a new key on your key ring. Opening the key ring can be very difficult, but the key you end up installing is not going to leave. If you too are finding it difficult to put a new key on your ring, this simple solution will help you.
All you need is a tool to remove the nail, not an overworked fingernail. You may think this is silly because no one carries such a thing around with them, but it will help you in many situations. The last time we used a nail remover was when we were in elementary school, but for this trick we would run to the store and buy one.
An easy way to put tin foil in a box
Do you feel frustrated when you want to remove the foil, but it keeps falling out of the box? But you can easily solve this problem by simply putting it in the box. We just found out – the box has tabs on it to hold the roll in place.
Most foil boxes have a perforated tab on the side that, when pushed in, prevents the roll from slipping out of the box. We didn’t know this existed, but from now on, we can’t live without these tabs. We wish it would be more visible.
Bananas can be peeled better.
If you have ever seen a monkey eating a banana, you must have noticed that the banana is not peeled from the stem. We have mostly peeled bananas this way until now. In everyone’s defense, this seems to be a function of the stem.
I would rather peel from the underside for not squeezing the fruit. It may seem strange to follow a monkey’s advice, but it should change the way you eat bananas. This peeling method will also result in fewer streaks.
This slotted patch has practical applications.
If your backpack had such a slotted patch, you probably would never have used it. They are often thought of as part of a decorative design, but they actually have their own uses. Originally invented to carry tools such as axes and knives, it is known as a lacing piece.
Today, this lashing can be used to secure the necessary items to a backpack. Many hikers use it to secure sleeping bags and other items that do not fit in their backpacks. If you are an overpacker like us, this will save you even more luggage space.
Are you loading your blender efficiently?
When making smoothies, do you always feel like there are unblended clumps at the bottom? This is probably due to the blender being loaded incorrectly. We always think of putting the solids in first because they don’t get dirty, but there is a better way.
The most efficient way to use a blender is to put the liquid in first, then the solids. The liquid spinning at the bottom will absorb the solids and blend everything evenly, resulting in a smooth smoothie. This method works best with frozen fruits and vegetables.
