Ingredients : 

  • One cup of water
  • 2 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ¼ cup of fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of dry vermouth
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Half tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 lbs of Asparagus
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon of minced green garlic
  • 4 to 5 cups of vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • ¼ cup of heavy cream
