6. Nail polish removerĀ
Nail polish remover pods are quite useful, but they are quite pricy as well and they run out so fast. You can make a DIY version by filling an old pill bottle with remover and some cotton balls, and you are good to go.
7. Center-pull for your yarn
If you want to wrap your own yarn you don’t need to buy an expensive center-pull because you can stick the yarn’s start in an old pill bottle and put its cap on before beginning to wrap. This method gives you the necessary natural gap you need. The best part about this method is that it won’t cost you a dime.
8. Makeup holder
You can use old pill bottles as makeup holders, they can fit in Q-tips, makeup brushes, cotton pads, and much more. Just fill them up and grab whatever you need whenever you need easily (you can also paint them if you don’t like their dull original orange color).
9. Purse trash can
Old pill bottles can serve as mini trash cans. You can use them to collect wrappers, old receipts, old bus tickets, and anything that’s considered junk in your purse or bag.
10. Earbud container
I still can’t figure out how earbuds get tangled that quickly in a weird way all by themselves. I hate tangled earbuds, luckily if you knot them and store them in a pill bottle they don’t get tangled and they stay nice and neat.
11. A love Rx
If you love someone and you want to show them how you feel in a goofy and cute way, make a love Rx out of an old pill bottle, I’m sure they will love it, plus, it will remain as a pleasant and funny memory.
12. Matchbox
Matches are very useful and handy, but matchboxes are neither kid-proof nor waterproof. Pill bottles, on the other hand, are both water and kid-proof. You can use them as matchboxes by storing matches in the bottle and taping a strike to the outside, and that’s it.
13. Coin holder
Old pill bottles can be used to store bills and loose change.
