6. Horseradish
In early spring, lift up the root and cut it into 3-inch sections, then plant them one foot apart in your garden bed.
7. Comfrey
Make sure to take the root cuttings in spring or fall, then plant them directly in a deeply worked bed and use a mulch to cover them. The roots will grow deep in the soil which provides the plant with plenty of nutrients.
8. African violets
Search for healthy young leaves with 2 to 3 inches of leafy stalk and cut them off. Poke a hole using a chopstick at a 70° angle, then insert each stalk into a tray of sand and moist compost, but you have to keep the tray warm, moist, and in an area with bright lighting.
9. Rex Begonia
Grab a single leaf and start making some slashes on the prominent veins on the downside of the leaf, then put it on a moist bed made of equal parts of sharp sand and peat moss. Once done, use some pebbles to weight down the leaf to keep the edges in contact with the bed. Make sure that the place you keep them in is warm and has good lighting.
10. Aluminum plant
First, get the tip cuttings with 3 to 4 nodes, then strip the low leaf pair and start trimming the stem at the node. Once done, add them to a moist rooting and make sure to keep them in a warm place (also you have to keep the medium moist until plants start growing).
