Oven-Baked Baby Back Ribs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 275F.
  • Rinse and dry the ribs with a paper towel. Remove the silver membrane from the skin.
  • Cover the ribs with a dry rub.
  • Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil in a baking dish and make sure that the edges are sealed.
  • Bake in the oven for 2 hours. You will know it is ready when the meat comes off the bone with the fork and becomes soft. Continue cooking until the bone comes off easily when pulled (up to 4 hours for large ribs).
  • Remove the foil and discard the juices. Cover ribs with barbecue sauce.
  • Bake in the oven. When hot, place the baking tray under the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes. If desired, repeat with an extra layer of barbecue sauce. Serve the ribs.
