5. Glass Top Stove Cleaner
Wood ash can be used to clean glass top stoves easily (it can also deal with stubborn stains like cooked on gunk). Mix the wood ash with a little bit of water to create a paste. Apply the paste on a damp cloth and use it o scrub off the stains.
6. Fireplace/Woodstove Glass Cleaner
Woodstoves and fireplaces with glass doors are truly magical, however, the glass doors develop creosote stains that completely block the view. To clean the stains, get a damp cloth or a damp sponge and apply some wood ash to it and start scrubbing off the stains. Be sure that the fireplace or woodstove is cool enough before going on with the cleaning to avoid burning yourself.
