 1-Ingredient Stainless Steel Cleaning Spray

 

What you need:

  • Empty spray bottle
  • 1 part white distilled vinegar
  • 1 part water
  • Microfiber cloth

Instructions:

1. Start by filling half of the bottle with distilled vinegar, and the other half with water.

2. To use, spray your stainless steel with the solution and use the microfiber cloth to wipe it off.

2. DIY Drain-O

Materials:

  • 1 part salt
  • 1 part baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Boiling water

Instructions:

1. Start by removing the drain cap.

2. In a bowl, mix equal parts of baking soda and salt.

3. Pour the mixture down the drain.

4. Then, pour your warm vinegar onto the mixture and let it sit.

5. After a few minutes, pour boiling water down the drain.

6. The last step is to return the drain cap, and voila!

TIP: You can store the mixture of baking soda and salt ina jar and you can use it whenever you have a clog.

3. DIY Toilet-Cleaning Pods


Materials:

1 cup baking soda

  • ¼ cup citric acid
  • 1 tablespoon dish soap
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Ice cube tray


Instructions:

1. Combine the baking soda and citric acid in a bowl.

2. Add some dish soap and stir until it gets a wet sand formula.

3. If the mixture expands above the tray, firmly press back down. Place the pod mixture in an ice cube tray and let it sit and dry for at least 4 hours.

4. Store your pods in an airtight container when they dry.

5. To use, simply drop into the toilet and let sit until the pod stops bubbling.

Note: These are great for refreshing your toilet in between full cleanings.
