INGREDIENTS
- jam – 1 cup marmalade, by choice
- water – 2 cups, hot
- oil – 1 cup
- eggs – 2
- baking powder – 1 packet
- flour – 3 cups
- walnuts – 1 cup, chopped
- raisins – 1 cup
- cinnamon – 1 tsp
- cloves – 2 – 3, chopped
HOW TO COOK
Beat the jam in the water and successively add the oil, eggs, baking powder sifted with flour, while whisking constantly. Finally, mix with the walnuts, raisins, cinnamon and crushed cloves.
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured cake tray or form. Put it to bake in a moderately heated oven until ready.
