Are you a cluttered person? Do you have trouble keeping things neat and tidy? Neither, but have too much stuff to put in its place? We think you are. That’s why we’ve curated the best storage methods for those in desperate need of revitalization. Scroll through for tips on how to organize your bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. Whether you live with roommates, a significant other or kids, you’ll find tips to make life at home easier.

Potpourri.

First, for kitchens where storage space is limited, here’s a simple, elegant solution for storing pots and pans and dishes. We all know how difficult it can be to cram a lot of kitchen utensils into a small cabinet in a small apartment. By eliminating the need to store pots and pans, this space is doubled.

All you need for this hack is to buy some plain coat hangers with adhesive backing and glue them to the inside of your cabinets. Measure the size of your pot lids and hangers to make sure everything fits, giving you more space and a less cluttered kitchen.

Lots of towels.

Bathrooms can be very messy, especially in large family homes where it may take several towels. This can be especially frustrating if no one hangs the towels properly and they end up scattered on the floor.

Therefore, a few wide hangers will make your bathroom look better. Hanging both new and used towels will give your bathroom a whole new look and encourage other residents to make a little extra effort in hanging their towels.

Keep plenty of bottles on the floor.

We’ve all experienced the endless clutter in our homes. Small items, snacks and odds and ends of necessities always make for a cluttered mess. Fortunately, we have a solution that kills two birds with one stone.

First, all you need are plastic bottles of various sizes. Punch holes in the plastic bottles and hang them up. Then, if you put the bits and pieces together in a homemade storage space at an easily accessible eye level, you can reduce the clutter by 50% and when you leave home you won’t have to go looking for a mint.

Less clutter in the car.

Snacks, toys, baby wipes, paper towels, discarded receipts – cars tend to get cluttered. But not anymore. From now on, there’s a solution to the junk that always gets into your car. Simply purchase a handy cereal dispenser and place a bag of trash in it.

This handy little trick is perfect for cars on the move because it has a lid, so you don’t have to use a fragile car trash can anymore because the contents will fly out when you make a sharp turn. It’s also big enough so you don’t have to keep emptying your trash. It’s a must.

Shoes on the wall.

These days, everyone has a few pairs of shoes. Whether it’s shoes for soccer practice, ballet rehearsal, gardening, the gym or a night out, there are always shoes lying around and it seems like someone trips over them. So here’s how to keep shoes outside the front door and outside the living room to avoid clutter.

A basic set of hangers at the entrance of the house will solve this problem. Simply ask all guests and family members to put on their shoes properly when they enter the house. No more messy or muddy floors, no more shoes lost before soccer practice begins.

Organizing our meals

Sometimes it pays to eat all fruits and vegetables: complete and absolute chaos. Potatoes, zucchini, carrots, onions, squash, pumpkin. As delicious as they are. And, of course, they’re hard to preserve. Therefore, we suggest you venture out of the produce department and buy organizational items from the office supplies department.

These were originally designed to hold files and binders, but they’re big enough to hold vegetables and still have room to spare. You can organize them by type, or you can throw all your vegetables and fruits, which are a hodge-podge of colors and flavors, in there. Best of all, no matter how messy it looks, that mess won’t spill over into the rest of the kitchen.

The phone in the drawer

We sure don’t like to walk around with cobwebs of charger wires strung up everywhere we go. Our use of electronic devices doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon, which means we have to deal with the resulting chaos ourselves. Fortunately, this clever trick is far ahead of the game.

Insert the extension plugs with sockets into the drawer, organize your charging devices so that all of them fit, and have a charging dock for each device. That way they won’t get lost and the cords won’t get tangled together. And cluttered cords will no longer be an obstacle in your beautiful bedroom.

Hide the onion

Here’s an alternative to the produce trick mentioned earlier. This is for those who don’t have a lot of counter space and want to keep clutter out of sight. If you have deep, wide drawers in your kitchen or pantry, you only need a few bins to put them in.

Simply sort all your goods into crates and close the drawers. This simple trick will keep everything you need within reach, while keeping your kitchen clean and tidy. Now you can spend more time relaxing while you make dinner.

Rink organizer.

Remember those fun games you played as a kid? It was great fun watching them slide down the stairs. But this handy little plaything is still very useful.

Fold the pulley and glue the two ends together to form a circle. Then glue the bottom to a plate or pot liner and start gluing all the wrong lids into the gaps. Ta-da! You’ve solved the chronic problem of lost lids. And nostalgia ensues.

Bags, bags, bags.

Bags are everywhere. One minute you think you bought an extra one at the grocery store, and the next minute the cabinet under the sink could be overflowing with millions of plastic bags, flooding the room and swallowing you up.

Fortunately, an empty tissue box solves this problem. Simply fold the extra plastic bags, place them inside the tissue box, grab the handle of the first bag and start pulling. The rest of the bag will be out of sight and out of mind.

Snack rationing.

Putting a lot of snack ration bags in a large box is tempting, but not very aesthetically pleasing. This is where a simple plastic tube is just what you need to make snacking a habit.

Simply glue on some cardboard (made from disassembled cereal boxes) to create a divider. Then, fill it with your favorite snacks and you have a container full of nutritious snacks.

Keep plenty of condiments in the cupboard

Condiments can take up a lot of space in a cupboard. If you have an old box of mints around, you can make use of them.

Label them nicely and transfer all the spices into small, compact boxes. You don’t have to worry about space, and you can easily access delicious cooking spices.

LEGO Stands
Don’t know what to do with those pesky Lego blocks that fall at your feet in the middle of the night? Trying to make soup and your spoon and ladle are missing?

The answer is simple: just build a sturdy structure out of Lego blocks and glue all your long spoons and kitchen utensils to it. You kill two birds with one stone.

Magnetic spices
Mint box with a bit of spice in it …… If that’s the case, here’s another solution. Attach a magnet to the inside of the spice bottle lid and it will stick perfectly to the fridge.

There is no need to remove the spices from the container, which is a hassle-free process. What’s more, by keeping the spices on the fridge, you’re also freeing up valuable storage space for other delicacies.

Make sure the toilet paper is safe.
It’s the little things in life that matter. Dropping a roll of toilet paper and watching half of it snap can be a downer.

Therefore, investing a few extra minutes to seal toilet paper is really worth it. Simply press the toilet paper against the (already wet) sink faucet to create a homemade seal on the toilet paper. The toilet paper won’t come apart.

Designated towels.
Whether you live with roommates, a significant other or a large group of children, if your towel is wet when you get out of the shower, it can create a mess in a public bathroom.

Instead of experiencing the discomfort of wiping yourself with a wet, cold towel, use magnets, stickers or signs to make it clear to everyone in the house that “towels are for you and only you.

Organizing Toiletries
The organizers used to organize pottery are not just for silverware. Use organizing techniques to turn standard utensils into multipurpose organizers.

Keep one of these bad boys in your bathroom cabinet and it will change your life. It will give you easy access to your toiletries. No more clutter, no more mess, and an overall better bathroom experience.

Utensil Storage
No room in the kitchen drawer for dishes? That’s okay, we’ve got you covered. No more rummaging through drawers. No more knives swirling around in the drawer while you eat.

Once you’ve got the kids (or bored roommates) coloring the pots and labeling them accordingly, arrange all the utensils neatly next to the sink and plates. This will make your kitchen look more Instagram-worthy and may even bring peace to your soul.

Tall spoons.
There’s no need to waste valuable counter space with heavy containers. Take advantage of something you can get (almost) for free: air.
By reducing counter space, your kitchen space will be larger and more spacious.

A hammer, nails and hooks are all you need to make this an easy task. Take out some pot holders that you no longer need and hang some hooks. Hook them to the bottom of your cabinets and hang your biggest spoons, spatulas, etc. It’s a hack you won’t regret.
