You should always start with this because it’s the most rational thing to do first. Simply remove the oven racks, then fill your sink with hot and soapy water and soak the racks in it for a couple of ours. Once the time has passed, scrub the racks very well, then rinse and dry them.
2. Spot Cleaning Solution
Sometimes, you will notice residue and burnt food stains in your oven that can be very hard to scrub off. To solve this, mix some water with baking soda and dish soap until you have a paste, then apply it to the stained spot and let it sit for about half and use a damp rag to scrub and wipe the spot.
3. Clean The Oven Door
Sometimes, you’ll see gunk all over your oven door. To fix that, use a little bit of elbow grease and a magic eraser to clean the gunk off the oven door.
4. Hard-To-Reach Places
When cleaning, you’ll come across some areas that you can’t access easily especially vent slots and other areas. To solve this problem, simply wrap a piece of paper towel around a butter knife, then use it to clean all the hard to reach places.
5. Glass Stovetops
This method is for people that have electric stoves with glass stovetops. Sometimes you find the stovetops covered in water and burnt food stains and whatever you try, it just doesn’t work that well. Fortunately for you, there is this method. Simply sprinkle baking soda on your stovetop, then soak a towel in a mixture of water and liquid dish soap. Once done, put the towel on the stovetop and let it sit for half an hour before gently scrubbing away the loosened residue.
