You should know that when pineapples are plucked from the plant, they don’t ripen anymore, and you will find yourself with a less sweet and more firm pineapple, and it is not what you had in mind. So, to solve this problem, you only have to follow these simple yet effective steps.

  1. Start by cutting off the top crown of the pineapple
  2. Place the pineapple on a plate with it’s cut side facing down.
  3. Grab a plastic foil or a plastic wrap to cover the pineapple. Once done, store it in your fridge for a few days (preferably two or three days.)

This all comes down to the sweet juices from the riper part of the pineapple that started spreading through the entire pineapple. This method is so simple yet so effective, and it literally transforms the whole taste of pineapple.
