  • 10 grams dry yeast (approximately 1 tablespoon)
  • 80 grams butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 850 grams tender wheat flour
  • 1 large teaspoon salt

  1. Begin by combining the warm milk, sugar, dry yeast, melted butter, and eggs in a mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Gradually add the tender wheat flour, followed by the salt, and mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until it reaches a soft, smooth consistency. Cover the bowl and allow the dough to rest for about an hour or until it doubles in volume.
  4. Once the dough has risen, gently press out any excess air.
  5. Divide the dough into 27-30 portions and shape each into balls. Then, stretch and roll each ball of dough.
  6. Arrange the dough portions in a greased baking mold, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Cover the mold and let the dough rise again until doubled in volume.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together one egg yolk and a teaspoon of milk. Brush this mixture over the risen dough.
  8. Preheat your oven to 200°C (approximately 390°F). Bake the bread for about 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
