Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes



  • 4 cups of thinly sliced Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups of whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • A pinch of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground white pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups of a flavorful sharp cheddar and Gruyère cheese blend, grated
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

  9. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of the cheddar and Gruyère cheese blend along with the grated Parmesan cheese over the top, creating a delightful cheesy crust.
  10. For a touch of color and flavor, sprinkle a pinch of smoked paprika evenly over the cheese.
  11. Bake the potato casserole, uncovered, in the preheated oven for approximately 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly, and the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
