Dust is a common household problem, it builds up fast and on any surface. The worst part is that even if you put a lot of effort into cleaning surfaces from dust, it gathers up again quickly

To deal with this rather annoying matter, there are many ways to get rid of the annoying dust besides calling for professionals. You only need a few items that you probably have in your kitchen and get to work. So without any further ado, here are 14 dust cleaning methods you have to know about.

1. Window blinds

Window blinds should be dusted from time to time if you don’t want them to look dingy. To clear the dust off of them, use a rubber band to attach a microfiber cloth to tongs and just like that, you got yourself a brand new duster.

2. Ceilings

Cleaning ceilings is absolutely crucial if you want as much dust out of the house as possible. Put a microfiber cloth on the broom’s bristles and secure it with some rubber bands, then start sweeping the ceiling (this method shows its effectiveness when there are unreachable cobwebs in the corners (you can use a step tool or a broom with a long handle if you have a high ceiling).

3. Popcorn ceilings

When it comes to popcorn ceilings, the previous method won’t do you any good, but you can use the brush attachment on your vacuum to get rid of the dust. A feather duster can be used too, but it consumes so much time.

4. Whiten grout

If you want to clean the area between your tiles without spending much time scrubbing, then use baking soda and a simple solution sprayed on the grout lines.
