How to cool down a warm drink in a matter of minutes

Cold drinks taste like heaven during summer days. When it’s hot outside, there is nothing better than chugging cool drinks like iced tea, beer, coke, soda, water, etc, and the cooler they are, the better they taste. Unfortunately, sometimes you end up with a warm drink and you are far away from the fridge so you don’t have any way to cool it down, or do you? Well, I’m glad to let you know that there is a way to cool down drinks in a matter of minutes.

During the summer, cooled drinks sell out quickly in supermarkets and stores, so 7 times out of 10, you’ll end up with warm drinks that are not that pleasant to drink. But, the worst thing ever is supermarkets that do not sell cooled drinks. Imagine having a small party at your place and you went to buy drinks (soda, beer, coke, etc) and you find out that the store or supermarket does not sell cooled drinks, no one likes warm beers and sodas, and surely no one is willing to wait for them to cool down in the fridge. But fear not, because I have a method that will surprise, a method that can cool down your drinks in a matter of minutes without the need of a fridge.

To make use of this method you are going to need the following ingredients:

  • Ice cubes
  • Big pot (a big tub or bowl can work perfectly too)
  • Salt
  • Water

Start the process by filling the pot with water, then add in the ice cubes. Once done, sprinkle some salt and put the drink(s) in the pot, then start stirring the water for a couple of minutes and let it sit for a few minutes and you are good to go. The drinks are now ready to serve and the best part is that they are way cooler than they used to be. If you felt lost while reading the process’s directions, here is a YOUTUBE video that breaks down the process step by step.
