How to remove stains from plastic cutting boards?

No matter how much or how well you clean, white cutting boards start to show stubborn stains that don’t come off over time. But you don’t have to live with these unsightly stains. All you need is the power of “lemon sunshine” according to One Good Thing by Jillee.

Here’s what you need to do:

Add lemon juice or lemon essential oil (about 10 drops) to about half a cup of water. Thoroughly soak a sponge in the mixture, then use the abrasive side of the sponge to wipe down the cutting board.

After scrubbing well, take out your cutting board (make sure it’s a sunny day). Put the cutting board on a table in the sun and let it sit all day. That evening, you’ll be amazed at the results!
