Potato Pie Stuffed with Ham and Mozzarella (Pan Fried)


This is one of my all time favorite dishes. It’s mainly because it reminds me of the good old times. I used to  make with my mom  since I was a teenager. Not only does it taste delicious but also, it’s very easy to make. Even the youngest of your children (If you have children) can learn making it !


* 520 g of potatoes

* 1 egg

* 130 g of Italian 00 flour

* 30 g of Parmesan cheese

* 60 g cooked ham

* 70 g of mozzarella

* salt

* Butter

To make your dish taste better and get a quality taste,respect the instructions below:

1 Boil the potatoes in large quantities with the skin. Once cooked, drain, peel and mash.

2 Add a little salt, parmesan, flour and egg.

3 Take a sheet of parchment paper and make a portion of square potatoes with your hands (if you want, you can flour them a little), Put inside a little ham and mozzarella and cover with another square of potato paste.

4 Cook in the pan in which you previously garnished a little melted butter, then brown on both sides. Repeat the same process until it runs out.
