Cover the top of your jar with a breathable fabric and secure it using an elastic band or a metal rim of the mason jars. Shake it well to distribute the essential oil. You’ll maybe need to shake the rice jar again from time to time if you notice that it’s not working properly anymore, this will make the essential oils do the work again. This jar could last you for about 6 months before you replace the rice.
