Just when I thought I’d seen all kinds of tiny homes, I was proven wrong. The tiny home we’re about to share with you is not a trailer, nor a cabin, nor a converted school bus. It really takes the meaning of “tiny home” to a new level, as it is so small that it can be pulled by a bicycle.

Paul Elkins decided to build his “micro-mobile home” in order to have dwellings so light that they could be pulled by his own bike. He based his micro-home on the Airstream model, and it really does have everything he needs.

The trailer is insulated, so it stays warm enough to sleep in during the winter months. In addition to a small bed, Paul also has a tiny kitchenette with a single-element stove and a sink. The micro house also has a few drawers and shelves to store his things.

The most interesting aspect of Paul’s micro house is that he was able to build it entirely for only $150. He used a ton of recycled and free materials that he was able to reuse in creative ways. Paul’s micro house allows him to bike across the country and live without any bills. All he has to do is buy food!
