1. Water

This is quite simple but very effective. You can actually open your bronchial tubes and make mucus thinner by drinking a glass of water once every two hours.

2. Vapor Rub 


Bronchitis can be terminated with the help of the cooling properties of vapor rub. Simply apply vapor rub to your chest before going to bed and it will work wonders.

3. Steam. 

Pine oil acts like an expectorant which means it can help you get rid of phlegm, and eucalyptus oil is known for its antibacterial properties that can make mucus that sits in obstructed airways softer. With this in mind, lean over a bowl of steam treated with a couple of drops of pine essential oil or eucalyptus essential oil can help you ease off the symptoms

4. Cayenne pepper

You can thin the mucus in your lungs using spicy foods and especially cayenne pepper. This way you will start having healthy coughs that will eventually clear all of the mucus out of your bronchial tubes

5. Oregano oil. 

Oregano oil contains antibacterial properties and also supports bronchial health, which makes it a perfect compound to treat bronchitis.

6. Ginger


Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory compound that can also boost your immune system and has the ability to fight cold. Simple ginger tea will work miracles.

7. Garlic


Garlic is known for its antiviral properties and also for being a natural antibiotic. There are many ways to use garlic, but the simplest one is to add it to your daily dishes.

8. Honey 

Honey is such a sweet thing to take and knowing that it is good for throats and can treat congestion and inflammation just makes me appreciate and love it more. The best way to use honey is to add a teaspoon of it to either hot lemon water or tea.
