When the wax is cold, use a butter knife to separate the wax from the glass. Every candle is different, but most of the time, the candles come out easier in one big chunk. But sometimes, you’ll have to make it come out in small pieces.

I realized that the name sticker on the jars comes off easily in one try, and doesn’t leave any buildup. Now, you’re left with the bast sticker which becomes obvious when the jar is empty. When the container comes up to room temperature, place it in a bowl of hot water until the sticker is completely covered with water! Let it sit for 10 minutes and voila! the sticker comes off on its own.

To get rid of the leftover wax buildup, place the jar in the microwave for a few seconds and wipe it clean using a napkin. Then wash your jars and covers using dish soap and water, and you’re done!

As it appears in the picture below, there are plenty of ways to use these containers! You could even slap a chalkboard label on there for the finishing touch. I like to use them for office supplies, make supplies and Q-tips or cotton balls for the restroom. Actually, they’re really enough to just use for embellishment.

DIY: How to get wax out of candle jars! This easy trick takes hardly any effort at all, and is a great way to recycle, repurpose and reuse. Recycled projects and crafts are always my favorite because they're either really cheap or cost nothing at all. You could even sell these as pretty storage jars! A life hack everyone should know.
