How to make Magnesium Body Butter Natural Calm Balm for Relaxation and Sleep

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of shea butter
  • 2 tablespoons of emulsifying wax
  • 3 tablespoons of boiling water
  • 20 drops of essential oil of your choice
  • 1/4 cup of unrefined coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup of magnesium chloride flakes

Directions

  1. Mix the boiling water with magnesium flakes, and start stirring until the flakes are totally dissolved
  2. Let it sit for a moment to cool down
  3. Stir the shea butter, wax, and coconut oil in a double boiler over medium-low heat until everything melts down
  4. Remove from the heat and let it cool down until it reaches room temperature
  5. Pour everything in a bowl, then add the essential oils and use an immersion blender to mix everything together gently and slowly.
  6. Once done, let the obtained lotion cool for a couple of hours, then start mixing again until the motion becomes creamy and thick
  7. To store the lotion, be sure to put it in a refrigerator.
