Cocoa Noir Cake with Pink Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cups black cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon espresso powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
Pink Cream Cheese Frosting
- 2 packages of cream cheese; 8 ounces each
- 2 sticks of butter
- 2 boxes of confectioners sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2-4 drops of red food coloring
